Delete your account.

You can delete your Tapasya account at any time, from the app or by email. Deleting it removes everything about you from Tapasya's server.

In the app

  1. On the laptop, open Settings, then Account. On the phone, open You, then Account and sync.
  2. Choose Delete account. The app lists what will be deleted.
  3. Type DELETE to confirm. The account is deleted straight away, and every device signs out.

Without the app

Write to from the email address you sign in with, with the subject "Delete my Tapasya account". We may ask you to confirm it is you, and we reply when it is done.

Use this if you no longer have the app, or cannot sign in.

What is deleted, and what stays

The full detail is in the privacy policy, section 9.

Deleted from the server

  • Your account: email address, first name and TAP Code
  • Your signed-in devices
  • Your friends and friend requests
  • Your shared day and its daily history
  • Your study synced between devices
  • Messages to you, your invitation and your sign-in

Stays on your own devices

  • The study record on each laptop and phone, until you delete it or uninstall the app
  • On Windows, the data folder and its daily backups, until you delete the folder %APPDATA%\CAStudyTracker
  • Backups kept by our service providers, only until their own backup cycle ends
